Sheep Talk, Isle of Harris, Scotland

$95.00

I saw these two shepherds at a small agricultural fair on the Isle of Harris, in the Hebrides off the west coast of Scotland. I wanted to emphasize the contrast of the two groupings: the farmers in dark tweed with the white sheep. The treeless landscape, with muted colors and the aroma of peat smoke in the air, inspired this engraving, my most popular print.
